Trimming.... Once, Twice, Three Times????

Ok, on a real aircraft as you adjust speed and altitude, you have to trim each time, is this true for r/c aircraft? Or is it that once you have trimmed (in flight) no other adjustments are needed.

My experience has been that once it is trimmed out, you generally don't have to mess with it anymore, maybe a clik every now and then. The first time up I get the plane flying level with the trims at about 3/4 throttle. After that it usually doesn't need to be tweeked. If a lot of correction is needed then I'll make the adjustments to the push rods, zero out the trims and re-trim in flight. But once it's all flying good, I don't mess with it much. I fly mostly warbirds so as long as it's close I don't worry too much about it. I'm on the elevator and ailerons a lot to not notice if it's out of trim by a clik or two.
