Local to St. Louis soaring spots?????

Postby vapovick » Apr Thu 23, 2009 8:06 am

Can anyone advise on some places to fly r/c sailplanes? I know about Fults Hill, although I can seem to locate it on the map. If you guys have some good spots you like to take your sailplanes, please share :)

Thanks...

I fly foam jets there all the time. And My friend flys his Trexx 600 Nitro There also. WE usually get a crowd including the police.

Seriously? ( I realize that someone else just asked the same question but it seems like something as fun as flying would be banned by the city.)

Is there enough wind in the correct direction to use the slope or are we talking electric sailplanes here?
